war on Pligg .. war of madness.

June 19, 2006

  • i did alittle search about Digg like opensource project .. i got Pligg … which used in many peer news all over the web ..

what make me do this search .. My Linuxfilter.com feed on my online newsreader seems not workin anymore the site as well :(

so i did alittle search about Linuxfilter.com and that`s what i get.

claims of stolen digg code by the linuxfilter.com… alot of silly comments about that.

Steve Mallett from O’Reilly has stolen digg’s code

  • just little Digg about Linuxfilter.com so read the comments urself

http://www.digg.com/linux_unix/LinuxFilter_-_A_Linux_News_Site_Styled_After_Digg

Is the CSS code is proof of stolen code? or it`s just the code itself? i seen the CSS as just site interfacing not the core … and that`s not real proof.

let`s back to Pligg`s stories on Digg.

What`s this??? i seen it as war (-) free-open source and closed minded ones.

  • Copy cat THis site has borrowed the idea from DIGG and is for jokes but the total idea has been copied .Seems that the DIGG is the new treand for websites
